Turn the zone off and take the pan away. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why did my JennAir induction cooktop show E2 with an empty pan? An empty pan heats very fast on induction, and the electronics under it warm up with it. JennAir lists this as a common trigger. ### How long should my JennAir cooktop cool after E2? Wait until the cooktop is cool to the touch around the zone.
