F2 on a JennAir electric cooktop means the surface cooking area is too hot. The code goes away when it cools; if it returns as soon as you switch the area back on, the cooktop is still over temperature. Take the pans off the cooking area and switch it off. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does F2 come back when I turn my JennAir element on again? The cooking area has not cooled enough yet. Give it more time with the pans removed. ### Should F2 ever appear on a cold JennAir cooktop?
