Turn off the breaker for the cooktop before you reach into the cabinet below it. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why did FE47 start after I reorganized the drawer under my Miele? Items stacked high in that drawer can block the fan intake. Miele names objects in a drawer below as a cause. ### Does FE47 clear on its own once the drawer is fixed? Miele says to disconnect the cooktop from the power supply to clear the message after the clearance is restored. ### How much room does Miele ask for under a cooktop that shows FE47? Miele asks for at least 1/2 inch (15 mm) between the bottom edge of the cooktop and a shelf or oven below. Less room than that can starve the cooling system of air.
