Slide the pan away from the controls; if the zone went off, wait a few seconds and touch any control. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my Thermador beep and show F5 when I use the front zone? A large pan on a front zone can overhang the controls. Center it on the zone, or use a rear zone for oversized pans. ### Do I have to reset anything after F5? Only touch a control once the pan is moved. No breaker reset is needed. ### What is the difference between a flashing power level and a plain tone with Thermador F5? If the power level keeps flashing and a tone sounds, the zone is still on and Thermador is warning you. If only the tone sounds, the zone has already switched off to protect the electronics.
