The touch board and the power board under the glass lost track of each other, or one failed its own start-up check. A power dip, a ribbon or harness pulled loose when the top was fitted, or moisture from a boil-over is ruled out before a board is replaced, and a cooktop that keeps heating while this code shows is switched off at the breaker.

Glass touch keys and sliders that ignore a finger, start zones by themselves or stay locked, traced to the keys, the control board or the lock setting.

Touch keys or a slider do nothing, the display lights but ignores every press, or a knob turns without starting its burner or element.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Café's own guidance for F + number (flashing) on its cooktops. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Write the code down exactly.
Turn the breaker off for 30 seconds and back on.
If the code returns, book a visit and share the code.
What not to do
A Café code is not a cookware problem, and the number alone does not tell you which part to buy. It is also different from the blinking power arc on Café cooktops, which asks for a usable pan or for keys pressed in the right order.
What you may
notice with it.
The cooktop problems F + number (flashing) tends to arrive with. Answer these at the cooktop before anyone is booked.
