Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 252-4077

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Dacor's own guidance for C0 on its cooktops. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the cooktop off and on again.

02

If C0 stays, unplug the cooktop or switch its breaker off for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect.

03

Book a visit if the code does not clear.

Still there?

It usually turns into induction board and coil repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

C0 is not a cookware warning and does not mean the glass is cracked. It is the sensor circuit.

What you may
notice with it.

The cooktop problems C0 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the cooktop before anyone is booked.

Questions
about C0.

Can I clear C0 myself?
Turn the cooktop off and on again. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
What is the top sensor on my Dacor induction cooktop?
It is the sensor that reads the temperature of the glass surface. C0 means its circuit is open, often a failed sensor or a loose connection.
Can I keep cooking on my Dacor with C0?
The cooktop will not heat reliably without that reading. Try the restart steps and book a visit if C0 remains.
Can a restart clear C0 on a Dacor DTI30M977BB or DTI36M977BB induction cooktop?
Dacor's first step is to turn the cooktop off and restart it, then cut power for at least 30 seconds if the code stays. An open top sensor that survives both steps needs the sensor and its connection tested.

Still showing C0?

Book with the code copied exactly, the full model number, and whether there is any smell of gas or burning — with a code in hand, that is where the diagnosis starts.
