Wipe the control area dry and remove anything touching the keys.

02

Restart the cooktop with the POWER key.

Questions
about d0.

Can I clear d0 myself?
Wipe the control area dry and remove anything touching the keys. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does d0 appear after I clean my Dacor cooktop?
A damp cloth or water left on the keys can read as a long key press. Dry the area and restart.
Is the d0 on my Dacor a letter d and a zero?
Yes, a lowercase d followed by zero. It concerns the keys, not the zones.
How long must a key be held to set off d0 on a Dacor Modernist induction cooktop?
Dacor's table says more than eight seconds. A wet keypad, or a pan, lid or towel resting on a key, can hold it that long without anyone touching it.

Still showing d0?

Book with the code copied exactly, the full model number, and whether there is any smell of gas or burning — with a code in hand, that is where the diagnosis starts.
