Questions
about E01.

Can I clear E01 myself?
Turn the elements off and let the cooktop cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Wolf electric cooktop show E01 on a hot day?
The power module watches the temperature of the air around it, and a hot kitchen or oven below can push it over the limit. Once it cools, the cooktop should work again.
Is E01 on a Wolf electric cooktop dangerous?
It is a protective stop, not a hazard in itself. Repeated E01s during ordinary cooking suggest trapped heat or a sensor problem worth a visit.
At what temperature does E01 clear on a Wolf CT electric cooktop?
Wolf says normal operation should resume once the thermistors read under about 85°F (29°C). Until the air around the power module cools to that point, the cooktop keeps showing E01.
