Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 252-4077

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from BlueStar's own guidance for H on its cooktops. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Treat the zone as hot and keep hands off it.

02

Wait for H to go out before using the Heat Accelerator on that zone.

03

Book a visit if H stays lit on a cooktop that has been off and cold for a long time.

Cleared?

The cooktop came right without a new part. If the same message returns while a zone or burner is on, or the top shuts itself down again mid-meal, treat it as a fresh problem and book it.

What not to do

H is not an error. It is a warning that the glass is hot.

What you may
notice with it.

The cooktop problems H tends to arrive with. Answer these at the cooktop before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

A state the cooktop was put in, or one it picked deliberately — a child lock, a demo mode that lights the keys but heats nothing, a residual-heat letter over a zone that is still warm, a prompt that no pan has been found. Nothing has broken and no part is called for.

In BlueStar's own words

Questions
about H.

Can I clear H myself?
Treat the zone as hot and keep hands off it.
Why will the Heat Accelerator not start on my BlueStar?
If the zone shows H, it is still hot and the accelerator waits. It also will not start at the highest level.
How long does H stay on a BlueStar induction cooktop?
Until the glass over that zone cools. If H stays on a long-cold cooktop, book a visit.
Can I wipe the glass while H shows on a BlueStar TOUCH induction cooktop?
Wait until H goes out, because the signal means the zone is still hot. Cleaning is easier and safer once the glass has cooled.

Still showing H?

Book with the code copied exactly, the full model number, and whether there is any smell of gas or burning — with a code in hand, that is where the diagnosis starts.
