Questions
about E18.

Can I clear E18 myself?
Switch the breaker off for 30 seconds and back on. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Does E18 on a Wolf electric cooktop always mean a new power board?
Usually, but a loose connector or a supply problem can mimic it. The technician checks those first before ordering the board.
What should I do if an element stays on with E18 showing?
Switch the cooktop off at the breaker and leave it off, then book a visit. An element that will not switch off is a safety matter.
Is there any home troubleshooting for E18 on a Wolf CT electric cooktop?
Wolf states that no further troubleshooting advice is available for E18 beyond cutting the power. The power board that switches the radiant elements has to be tested in person.
