Questions
about H t.

Can I clear H t myself?
Lower the power or move pans to the rear zones and let the cooktop cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why did the front zones of my Smeg ceramic cooktop stop heating on a hot day?
Smeg says high room temperature makes it harder for the electronics to cool, and the front zones are cut first. Let it cool; if it happens in normal conditions, book a visit.
Can I keep cooking on the rear zones while H and t flash?
The cut applies to the front zones first, so the rear zones may keep working. If the display moves on to HItE, every zone has been stopped.
Which zones does H and t switch off on a Smeg SEU304EMTB?
The front cooking zones: Smeg's device cuts their power when the electronics cannot cool, and the display flashes H and t. Once temperatures drop back below the safety levels, those zones can be used again.
