Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 252-4077

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Samsung's own guidance for C0 on its cooktops. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the cooktop off and on again; if C0 stays, cut power at the breaker for at least 30 seconds.

02

If C0 is still lit after the power cycle, leave the breaker off rather than cooking on the zones that still respond.

03

If C0 returns after that, book a visit and say which zone was on.

Still there?

It usually turns into induction board and coil repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

C0 is not a pan-detection message. The pan is fine; the sensor reading is not.

What you may
notice with it.

Questions
about C0.

Can I clear C0 myself?
Turn the cooktop off and on again; if C0 stays, cut power at the breaker for at least 30 seconds. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I use the other zones on my Samsung while C0 shows?
Samsung's step is a restart and a power cycle. If C0 comes back, leave the cooktop off until a technician has checked the sensor.
Why does Samsung call a zone a burner in the C0 message?
The manual uses burner for each induction zone. C0 applies to the zone that was running.
Does C0 on a Samsung NZ30 induction cooktop mean the glass sensor is open or shorted?
Samsung's table for the NZ30A3060UK and NZ30K7880US lists both cases under C0: the top sensor open, or a short in it, while the zone is operating. The display does not tell you which one, so a technician measures the sensor to find out. Either way, the zone cannot hold its temperature until the reading is normal.
