01

Check the breaker and whether other appliances on the same supply are struggling.

Leave the supply wiring and junction box to an electrician, and keep the breaker off while any of it is checked.

Questions
about E2/E3.

Can I clear E2/E3 myself?
Check the breaker and whether other appliances on the same supply are struggling. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my ZLINE RCIND show E2 when my FCIND manual calls it overheating?
The two cooktops use different code tables. On the RCIND, E2 and E3 mean low supply voltage.
Who should check a low-voltage code on a ZLINE RCIND?
Start with the home supply, which may need an electrician; if the supply is fine and the code stays, book a visit.
Why does ZLINE list E2 and E3 together on the RCIND-30?
The RCIND manual pairs its codes, and both of these share one cause: the voltage supplied to the cooktop is too low. The remedy is the same for either number, so power on again only after the supply is back to normal.

Still showing E2/E3?
