Questions
about E6/E9.

Can I clear E6/E9 myself?
Turn the cooktop off and let it cool, then restart it, as ZLINE instructs. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my ZLINE RCIND show E6 after a long session?
Heat builds up faster than it leaves, and the code stops the cooktop until it cools. Frequent E6 in short sessions points to a cooling problem.
Should the fan run after the ZLINE RCIND shows E9?
ZLINE says fans running after a zone is switched off are normal while the electronics cool, so a running fan is expected.
Can a packed drawer under a ZLINE RCIND cooktop set off E6 or E9?
It can make it harder for the cooktop to shed heat, which is what ZLINE's heat-radiation line describes. Clear the space underneath, let the cooktop cool and restart it before deciding anything is broken.
